HAMERSLEY INLET CAMPGROUND

Public BBQ

ChatGPT Nestled in the serene Fitzgerald River National Park, this campsite offers an idyllic retreat amongst lush trees and bushland. The generous, well-laid-out campsites are marked by scrub, providing ample space and privacy. All are easily accessible, with hard stands suitable for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. Facilities are kept immaculately clean, featuring long drop toilets and a new BBQ area. There's no power, but a rainwater tap is available. A short walk leads to a picturesque inlet with shallow, brackish water. A longer, lovely hike rewards with a pristine, secluded beach. The area teems with abundant flora and fauna, including kangaroos. The caravan section has also received high praise, and the campsite overall is considered a great value. Note that the nearest shops are a bit far, so plan accordingly. While the beach is a distance away and not ideal for swimming, it's still worth the walk for its untouched beauty.
